January 18, 2010 Greetings Ladies, I pray that we have all moved into the year 2010 with excitement and more enthusiasm to work for our Lord. The year 2009 was a wonderful year and 2010 will be also.
If your Unit is working on pledging to care for God’s Creation, you may refer to your Criteria for becoming a Mission Today Unit form (#17; also found under “Forms” on the website) to get all necessary information or contact me and I will get the information to you.
We have two new Mission Studies and one repeat for CMEE this year: Spiritual Growth: For the Love of God: John’s Letter Geographic: Sudan (repeat) Social Issue: Mission and Evangelism
Let’s remember the people in Haiti as we pray daily.
Don’t forget to post your District and Conference Calendar in a place that you visit often in your home and/or office. We don’t want you to miss any events.
Let’s work to be 100% Units, Let’s work to be 100% Districts and lets work to be a 100% Conference.
Blessings, Melba Mitchell Conference E & I
Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap, but by the seeds you plant.

“A Dream of Going Green” (Dedicated to 2009 RUMW President – Barbara Whittington)
“God” created us a world so beautiful and great – Let’s conserve and protect it – before it’s too late.
Calling on all our citizens both far and near – To control the waste and keep our water clean and clear.
Protecting our resources is needed and then some – To keep our environment healthy and not over-done.
Increasing pollution – gaping holes in the ozone layers- The entire earth and our bodies are in need of prayers.
Global warming – smog – trash – and melting ice – Too many man-made problems – not so nice.
Save on energy and resources any way you can – The outcome will be beneficial to beast and man.
People – lets compost – mulch – recycle and clean – If we all work together we can keep “God’s” Earth Green.
